Drummer From Another Mother (DFAM) is a highly-interactive, Semi-Modular Analog Percussion Synthesizer and a vibrant deviation from the traditional drum machine. Handcrafted in Asheville, NC by the employee-owners at the Moog Factory, DFAM is the first addition to the Mother-32 family of synthesizers and presents an expressive hands-on approach to percussive pattern creation. It requires no patching, and absolutely no experience is needed for human-beings of any age to quickly begin synthesizing new and unique rhythmic compositions.

Originally released in 1970, Minimoog Model D was the world’s first portable synthesizer and served as the archetype for all electronic keyboards that followed. The all-analog instrument gained acclaim for combining the colossal sound of the 1960s Moog modular synthesizers with the accessibility of pre-wired modules—meaning that it could be played instantly and intuitively with no patch cables required. It was quickly embraced by a diverse roster of performers, with artists like Herbie Hancock, Kraftwerk, Rick Wakeman, Sun Ra, Piero Umiliani, Giorgio Moroder, Bernie Worrell, and Gary Numan all shaping unique sounds and forging new musical genres using the instrument.

Mother-32® is an intuitive and expandable semi-modular synthesizer that adds raw analog sound, powerful sequencing and extensive interconnectivity to any creative, electronic or modular ecosystem.

Spectravox, the newest member of the Moog semi-modular family, is a
groundbreaking tool for sculpting sound. An analog spectral processor
based around a 10-band filter bank, Spectravox creates lively drones and
colorful tonal sweeps on its own and adds resonant depth and psychedelic
spectral movement to any external sound. Hook up a microphone and
Spectravox becomes a 10-band analog vocoder with innovative integrated
modulation of all of its filters. An exploration and expansion of the topology
of the vocoder and filter bank, Spectravox is a highly flexible instrument
and signal processor with a comprehensive patch bay for integration into
studios of all sizes.

Subharmonicon is a semi-modular polyrhythmic analog synthesizer designed for the exploration of sequences that unfold and evolve over time, spiraling through 6-tone subharmonic chords and organic polyrhythms.

Subsequent 25 is a 2-note paraphonic analog synthesizer that melds the hands-on analog soul of classic Moog instruments with the convenience and workflow of a modern sound-design machine. Moog’s most compact keyboard synthesizer, the Subsequent 25 delivers all of the rich sonic density that Moog synthesizers are known for.

By the early ’90s, preset-driven digital synths with limited hands-on controls dominated the landscape. The JD-800 changed all that in 1991, bringing the synthesizer world back to its roots with a control-laden panel and an aggressively electronic sound palette. The JD-08 includes 64 presets from the original hardware and perfectly recreates the four-tone structure, 108 waveforms, and unique two-part multi-effects that are at the core of the JD-800’s intricate, evolving sound.
